Testimonials
Fun, Entertaining and Educational
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed baking soda bread and scones with Mary and Carmel. The course was organised perfectly - timed very well so that we could make the most of the two hour time slot. Mary and Carmel were extremely warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and lively. We very much enjoyed our time and would love to come back.
Highly recommended!
I would definitely recommend doing this. We did this as a couple and really
enjoyed it. Both Mary and Carmel were brilliant. We’re both Irish but found it so interesting to hear the history of Irish butter and Irish bread. The best part was eating the lovely warm scones with a nice cup of tea, and local jam, and sit around and have a chat. It’s so nice to do something different like this. Book this tour!
Fun experience
Fun experience. Mary provided educational background on food history of Ireland, and Carmel led us through baking scones and traditional Irish soda bread. We got to enjoy fresh, warm scones with tea, and had plenty of leftover goodies to take home with us. I recommend this experience.
Best examples of Irish hospitality
This was one of the best examples of Irish hospitality we experienced on our holidays in Ireland. Carmel and Mary are excellent hosts and after a cup of tea and a chat we felt like part of the family. We look forward to baking as soon as were home!
Fun, friendly, professional and knowledgeable
This was great craic! The ladies are very fun, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Make scones and soda bread, but also how to make Irish coffee and serve tea. 'Genuine Irish' as they say
